HKC Round 6 – Rye House
July 6th 2014

Saturday testing was spent getting Chris accustomed to another new chassis after the previous kart was too badly damaged during the last round. This chassis is much more sensitive to driver input so Chris had to smoothen his driving style to get the best out of his equipment. By the end of the day he was producing very competitive times.

Race day was filled with ups and downs. The raw pace was there during the heats but some bad racing decisions meant Chris never capitalised on his potential witnessed during Saturday testing.

Chris had a much better final. After a slow start, he managed to keep pace and slowly pick off drivers to finish 7th which is one of his best results to date.
