Hoddesdon Kart Club
July 6th-7th 2013
Once again we were on hand for Chris and Lee Morgan continuing the start of their karting career. Chris (15) is racing Junior Max and Lee (12) is racing Mini Max.
Saturday testing went very well and we found a good setup on both karts. The weather was getting hotter and hotter so we changed some parts to try and lose some rear grip for race day. Sunday (race day) started well. Both drivers reported the karts feeling good. Both drivers are on their novice plates while they get used to the rough and tumble of close wheel to wheel racing.
While the weather proved difficult for setup as the day continued both drivers raced well through their heats and final. The day ended with both boys receiving the ?Top Novice? award in their respective categories. We aim to get them both further up the grid at the next meeting.
